RCBC Spring Ahead Program

SPRING AHEAD PROGRAM

RCBC partners with Cinnaminson High School in order to assist students with the application and registration process. Follow these steps in order to apply and register for classes at RCBC.

FALL INFORMATION SESSION 
Representatives from Rowan College at Burlington County will visit CHS and speak to students interested in attending the college. They will provide information on academic programs, costs, transferring to four-year colleges, etc.
 
Students must add RCBC to their college list in Naviance and let their Counselor know they wish to attend the information session. 
 
** After the information session, students will have an opportunity to complete the RCBC application online. Students must know their Social Security Number in order to complete the application.
 
 
SPRING PLACEMENT TEST (IF NEEDED) - RCBC WILL CONTACT YOU
RCBC uses multiple measures in order to determine the most appropriate placement for all entering students. Students who do not place into college level courses based on a transcript review, or by earning a set score on a standardized test, must take a placement exam for RCBC. An admissions counselor will contact you if you are required to take a placement test.
 
Students place into college level courses in the following ways:
 
English                                                                           Mathematics
SAT 450 or higher                                                          SAT 500 or higher
ACT Reading Score 23 or higher                                   ACT Math Score 20 or higher
ASVAB combined score of 65 or higher                         ASVAB combined score of 65 or higher

REGISTRATION FOR FALL CLASSES - SPRING (TBD)
Students who applied to RCBC and have completed required placement testing will have the opportunity to attend a brief orientation and meet 1:1 with an academic advisor and schedule fall courses before the rest of the student body. Payment for the fall semester will be due in the summer. Listen to the announcements and check your e-mail for additional details about registration.
 
Students who do not participate in the Spring Ahead Program must apply to RCBC, complete placement testing, meet with an advisor, and register for courses on their own.
