Mr. Bacon Welcome

Hello! My name is Mr. Bacon and I am the Director of Choral Activities at Cinnaminson High SchooI. I received my Bachelor's of Music in Music Education from Rowan University in 2006, having graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Concentration in Piano. While at Rowan I studied under Raffi Besalyan and Veda Zuponcic. I first taught at Lenape High School from 2006-2008, and started at Cinnaminson in 2008. Outside of school I am an active member of the professional theatre community, having vocally directed, performed, and played numerous shows at the Surflight Theatre, Haddonfield Plays and Players, Ritz Theatre, Burlington County Footlighters, Triple Threat Theater Company, and various colleges and high schools in the area. Additionally, I composed the 2021 and 2023 holiday shows for the Ritz Theatre Company, composed over 2 dozen children's musicals for the Garden State Discovery Museum, and composed the 2016 holiday musical at the Broadway Theatre of Pitman. Musically, I have managed the All South Jersey Elementary, Junior, and Senior High Bands, conducted the Western Burlington County Junior High Honors Band, and accompanied the All South Jersey Junior and Senior High Choruses. I have studied under Robert Page at Rowan University, worked with Morten Lauridson, Robert W. Smith, Z. Randall Stroope, and collaborated with countless Broadway and professional performers throughout my lifetime. My hope is to take the best of what I have experienced in music and share that passion with my students.
