We are continuing our Pirate Pride program ongoing dedication to promoting positive school culture at Cinnaminson High School. As a recap, each month we will decide upon one attribute that will be the focus with our staff and students. We will give students and staff specific and achievable ways to model this behavior, and we will promote this attribute in various ways throughout the month.
For the month of OCTOBER, the focus is ACCEPTANCE. Let us all show ACCEPTANCE by not using inappropriate words to describe a person or group of people. We can also “Mix-It-Up” by having a conversation or participating in an activity with someone we wouldn’t normally. Perhaps best of all, introduce yourself to someone new. Go out of your way to do these!
We have many activities to promote ACCEPTANCE planned for the month of October surrounding key weeks of Week of Respect, Red Ribbon, and Violence Awareness/Anti-Bullying. Please help us by encouraging your child(ren) to demonstrate these simple acts each month.
We look forward to fostering a culture of Commitment, Honor, and Spirit at CHS! |

The Cinnaminson High School equity leaders, advisors, and students were thrilled to return to school this September and jump right into action with their leadership training. Our primary focus remains ensuring equity, inclusion, and belonging for all students and staff at CHS, as well as leadership opportunities across our district.
From September 15th to October 15th, we are proud to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month—a wonderful opportunity to honor, lift, and celebrate the endless contributions of our Latin American friends and neighbors, both in our country and around the world. Looking ahead, we will close the fall season with a community celebration shortly before Thanksgiving, allowing us to acknowledge and honor our Indigenous ancestors, the Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape. Guided by our theme for the year, "Remembering Our Roots," we look forward to another meaningful and successful school year together. |

Sports physicals are valid for 365 days. To ensure your child is cleared for participation for the Winter of 2026-2027, please submit physicals ASAP. If your child needs a physical, they will be offered by Cinnaminson High School FREE OF CHARGE on Wednesday, November 11 during the school day (from 12 to 2 pm). Winter athletes interested in getting a physical, can stop by the Main Office and set up an appointment through Mrs. McNally, the Athletic Secretary. The doctor will fill out their portion upon examination. You can download the Sports Physical Packet to complete the necessary forms - Cinnaminson High School - Athletic Forms . Once filled out, return the paperwork to the school for review by the district's doctor. If your child already has a current physical on file, there is no need for a new one—just complete the registration process. If your child has asthma and uses an inhaler, please fill out the Asthma Packet - Asthma Packet - and return it to the school nurse. In case of an accident or serious illness, we will make every effort to contact the parent or guardian. If they are unavailable, we will reach out to the designated emergency contact. Please remember that final clearance for participation will not be granted until both the online registration and the physical form have been completed and signed off by our school physician. If your child requires an Epi-Pen ( Epi Pen) or has asthma ( Asthma Packe)t , you must submit the relevant forms to the nurse's office annually. We look forward to a fantastic season ahead and appreciate your support in fostering a thriving athletic community! |

Dear Cinnaminson Community, Alumni, and Friends, Spirit. Honor. Commitment. These three core values define what it means to be part of Cinnaminson High School. They are woven into our tradition, reflected in our classrooms, and carried into the world by every student who steps across our campus. Now, you have a unique opportunity to make your connection to that proud legacy truly permanent. We are thrilled to announce a revitalizing initiative: transforming the CHS side porch into the brand-new Alumni Portico—a dedicated space celebrating the alumni, families, friends, and community supporters who have shaped our school through the years. To build this permanent tribute, we are offering personalized, laser-inscribed pavers that will live forever at Cinnaminson High School. Supporting Legacy Lane Every paver purchased directly funds the preservation and development of Legacy Lane—the historic walkway leading to the stadium. Legacy Lane holds a sacred place in our school's story: it is the exact path that every single Cinnaminson graduate walks on their way to receive their diploma and step into the future. By adding your name to the Alumni Portico, you help maintain the physical path that every future graduate will walk. How You Can Participate Your customized paver can celebrate your graduation class, honor a family member, thank an influential teacher, or show your business's support for local education. Order your paver today at: Or scan the QR Code attached to this email. Space in the Alumni Portico is limited. Reserve your place in CHS history today and keep the Spirit, Honor, and Commitment of Cinnaminson alive for generations to come.

If your child is absent or late to school, written verification to satisfy the requirements of the attendance policy must be submitted to the Attendance Office within two school days, by 8:00 AM on the third day, if the request of the absence is to be considered excused. This is a particular concern when calculating Winner’s Circle. |
|
For those driving children to and from school each morning, please ensure that you follow all posted speed limits and drive safely through the surrounding neighborhoods when driving to and from school each day. We all are responsible for ensuring all children arrive at their respective schools safely each morning. |
Please remember that students are to be dropped off in the lane in front of the school only. Students are not to be dropped off in the parking lot. We want to make sure that students arrive at school as safely and efficiently as possible. Dropping off students in the parking lot increases the interactions between cars and students and delays the main drop-off line as more students need to cross the drop-off lane in the crosswalk. |
|
ESEA Section 8528 outlines provisions that give military recruiters the same access to secondary school students as recruiters from postsecondary institutions or prospective employers (e.g., college fairs, job fairs) and, when requested, requires LEAs to provide students’ names, addresses, electronic mail addresses, and telephone numbers to military recruiters. Parents who do not wish the district to provide name, address, and email information with military recruiters must notify the school in writing. A sample opt-out letter is available at the following link:
|
For the safety of your children, we will be requiring that when a student is released from school on an Early Dismissal for any reason, any person (including the parent) picking up your child must present photo identification. As a reminder, we will only release your child to a parent/guardian or emergency contact. Again, this is for the safety of your children. |
|
Parents who are picking up your child/children after practice/games, please do not park and wait in the lane of traffic in front of the gymnasium. Please park in the parking lot and wait for your child. Parking in the lane of traffic causes safety issues on many levels. Thank you in advance for your cooperation in this matter. |
