How to Notify our School About Your Child’s Upcoming Absence, Tardy or Early Dismissal
Please use the Genesis Parent Portal for reporting absences, tardies and early dismissals.
Once you log into your account, you can find and click on ‘Notify Office’ under Student Data->Attendance: There, you will see the form to submit. If you have more than one child, please check the box next to each child that the absence, tardy or early dismissal pertains to. Please select ‘Absent’, ‘Tardy’ or ‘Early Dismissal’ in the first dropdown. Enter the date of the absence, tardy or early dismissal. If your child will be absent for more than one day, you may also enter an end date. (Please see photo below)
If you have documentation regarding the absence, such as a dr.’s note, you can upload it when creating the absence. You can always go back and add this later after submitting the note (please see photo below).
