We have had a great start to the 2026 boys soccer season. Once again, our numbers are strong, allowing us to field Varsity, JV, and Freshman teams, which is a great sign for the continued growth of the program.

The team has worked hard throughout preseason, focusing on building fitness, developing team chemistry, and preparing for the upcoming season. We will travel to Cherry Hill West for our first scrimmage and then host Eastern and Toms River before opening the regular season away against Palmyra on August 31st. We are excited about the group we have this year and look forward to getting the season underway.

The girls soccer team should have another strong season as we return a solid core of players from last year. The girls have worked hard throughout the summer and are looking to be strong contenders in Group II Central

this season. We started off the season in a scrimmage vs. RV in a

5 - 0 victory. It was a great showing of what the team can accomplish this

year.

We have our annual Kick it to Cancer game scheduled for October 2nd against Egg Harbor Township. Then the following week we will celebrate our Seniors on October 14th vs. Holy Cross at Memorial Park.

We look forward to getting the season underway against Palmyra on

August 31st.

The girls have been hard at work this summer preparing for the upcoming season. With our numbers being high, we continue to field a Varsity, JV,

and Freshman team. This year we are looking to improve on our record

from last year and go further in the playoffs. Congratulations to our senior captains: Meghan Donelson, Phoebe Kershaw, Gabriella Pacetti, &

Avva Smith. We open the season at home Tuesday, September 1 against

Bordentown.

The girls volleyball team had a great summer participating in the Cherokee summer league with much success. Captains this year are

seniors; Izzi Guthrie, Julia Harvey, and Makayla Sheker. The girls have

been working hard in the preseason and will open up their season at

home against Cherokee on 8/31 at 4pm

The girls have been working hard all summer preparing for the upcoming season. The team has added multiple new members and are returning

four Senior varsity runners. The Seniors have set the standard for the newcomers, helping everyone get up to speed. The girls are excited and are

determined to compete for a divisional championship in the coming

months.

The boys have been logging some good mileage over the summer,

you have probably seen them around town, and are poised for a great

season. As the defending Central Sectional Champions, they are looking

forward to defending their title, and capitalize on their hard work. A large number of boys attended RunningWorks Cross Country camp in mid -August where the program had three alumni serving as counselors.

Seeing the continuity of Cinnaminson runners over the years working and learning together is what helps make it a successful program.

The girls tennis team has been busy preparing for the start of the season with weekly captains’ practices and drills. Congratulations to senior

captains Ryley Hobson, Addison McMullen, Grace Otto and

Claire Smereczynski. Also, a big shout out to our “Commitment” selection, junior Adelaide Slack and “Spirit” selection, junior Maggie Guinan. The

girls started off the season with a big win in their scrimmage against

Cherry Hill West. Our charity game will be held on Thursday, 9/17 and we will be raising money for Autism awareness. Senior day is TBD. We are

looking forward to a great season

The CHS cheerleading team recently participated in an intensive two-night UCA Cheerleading Camp at Monmouth University. Demonstrating immense dedication, the athletes worked from sunrise to sunset to master new stunts, choreography, and team-building exercises. Several team members earned individual accolades for their performance: All-American Honors: Junior Gemma Wolf was named an All-American Cheerleader. Jump Finalists: Gemma Wolf and Karizma Strigel advanced to the finals of the jump competition. Leadership Awards: Karizma Strigel and Kathy Vo received the prestigious "Pin It Forward" award, recognizing their outstanding positivity, collaboration, and kindness toward fellow campers.

The Cinnaminson High School Marching Band has had a productive

summer getting ready for the upcoming fall season. Rehearsals began in

July with sectionals and music learning, followed

by two intensive weeks of band camp during the first half of August. Students worked hard in the heat to learn the music and drill for this year's

production, "EX MACHINA."

Save the Date: Home Marching Band Show

We invite the community to join us on Saturday, September 19 for our

annual Home Show. Cinnaminson will host High School bands from acrossNew Jersey, Delaware, and Pennsylvania for a full day of music and

competition.

We are beyond excited to begin another school year and season of Unified Soccer! We look forward to another great season filled with teamwork, friendship, confidence-building, and plenty of fun on and off the field. The majority of our practices and games will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Anyone interested in joining Unified Soccer and working collaboratively with peers to build confidence, strengthen teamwork, and support one another both on and off the field is encouraged to register through Genesis and make sure you have an updated physical on file. Our first practice is Tuesday, September 22, 2026. We can’t wait to see everyone on the field and kick off another amazing Unified Soccer season!

Class of 2027 Senior Trip: Thank you to all of the students and families who have made their initial $650 deposit for the Class of 2027 Senior Trip to Orlando, Florida. Currently, 148 students are participating in the trip. The second deposit of $650 is due by Monday, September 21, 2026. Checks or money orders should be made out to Cinnaminson High School and delivered to Mrs. Alvarado in B120 or Mr. Becker in B212. It is not too late to join us! Just drop off your first deposit along with the signed Intent Form that is in the initial information packet. The deadline for dropping from the trip without financial penalty is September 30, 2026. This must be in writing (email) and sent to Mrs. Alvarado or Mr. Becker. Also, please consider whether or not you will be purchasing the optional trip insurance. Information was sent in June via ParentSquare. If purchasing, insurance must be purchased prior to making the final payment for the trip. Finally, we are updating parents through ParentSquare and our Cinnaminson High School Class of 2027 Parents Facebook page. If you are not receiving information, please email Mrs. Alvarado (alvaradoj@cinnaminson.com) and Mr. Becker (beckerr@cinnaminson) to ensure you are on our communication lists. If your child is absent or late to school, written verification to satisfy the requirements of the attendance policy must be submitted to the Attendance Office within two school days, by 8:00 AM on the third day, if the request of the absence is to be considered excused. This is a particular concern when calculating Winner’s Circle.

Please remember that students are to be dropped off in the lane in front of the school only. Students are not to be dropped off in the parking lot. We want to make sure that students arrive at school as safely and efficiently as possible. Dropping off students in the parking lot increases the interactions between cars and students and delays the main drop-off line as more students need to cross the drop-off lane in the crosswalk.

For the safety of your children, we will be requiring that when a student is released from school on an Early Dismissal for any reason, any person (including the parent) picking up your child must present photo identification. As a reminder, we will only release your child to a parent/guardian or emergency contact. Again, this is for the safety of your children.

Parents who are picking up your child/children after practice/games, please do not park and wait in the lane of traffic in front of the gymnasium. Please park in the parking lot and wait for your child. Parking in the lane of traffic causes safety issues on many levels. Thank you in advance for your cooperation in this matter.

All Young Men Who Are 18 Years Old, Or About To Turn 18: You are legally obligated to register with Selective Service. By registering you add your name to a list of all men in the nation 18-25. The list would be used to identify men for possible military service in case of a national emergency. You must also register with Selective Service to receive Federal Student Aid for college. The law says that all 18-year-old men must register within 30 days of their 18th birthday. You can register with Selective Service in less than 2 minutes via the internet at: www.sss.gov, or you can go to the Post Office and complete a registration form. You can also register online when filling out your FASFA. It’s quick, easy and the law.
